The Venetian Macao is a five star hotel, casino and entertainment resort that is situated on the Cotai Strip in Macao, a peninsula in China that sits across the Pearl River Delta from Hong Kong.
This establishment is owned by the Las Vegas Sands Corporation, a hospitality group that owns five other properties in Macao, including Sands Resorts Macao, Sands Cotai Central, The Parisian Macao, Sands Macao and The Plaza Macao.
In total Macao has 33 Casinos and has been nicknamed the Las Vegas of Asia, with The Venetian casino standing as the largest of them all. This awe-inspiring resort holds 39 stories, with Aeda and HKS, Inc. responsible for the design, coordination and execution of the building.
The Venetian Macao is not far from the famous Macau Tower and offers guests an extensive list of different entertainment options to enjoy, be it a night at the theatre, a day by the Venetian pools, a bite to eat with a choice of many dining options, or even a bit of retail therapy.
The Venetian Macao Hotel
The magnitude of this building aside, The Venetian Macao accommodates guests in a number of different ways. The hotel boasts an incredible 3000 suites, each tastefully styled with classic Italian decor.
Guests have the choice of seven different accommodation rooms, namely the Royale Suites, Bella Suites, Rialto Suites, Verona Suites, Famiglia Suites, Florence Suites and the Cielo Suites. Though the Royale is technically the standard suite, it offers guests 70 square metres of split-level space, with the living areas sunken in all rooms.
The Cielo Suite is suitable for those looking for the finer luxury accommodation in Macao, with 355 square metres holding 2 bedrooms, a large living room and bathroom and even it’s own spa room for in suite spa treatments and massages.
All rooms also feature free Wi-Fi, in-suite tea and coffee facilities and flat-screen televisions. While not in the rooms guests are able to explore the many hotel amenities, such as the available gondola rides, the Venetian pools, the gym and Grado mini-golf.
The Venetian Macao Casino
The Venetian Macao is not only the biggest single structure hotel building in Asia, but also holds the world’s largest casino. It measures 50 700 square metres and is divided into 4 different sections, each with their own theme, namely the Imperial House, Golden Fish, Red Dragon and Phoenix gaming areas.
